Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the final messenger of Islam, born in Makkah in 570 CE. His life offers a living model for how a Muslim should live with integrity, compassion, and devotion.
Early Life
Orphaned at a young age, he was raised by his grandfather and then his uncle. Known as Al-Ameen (the trustworthy), he worked as a merchant and was admired for his honesty.
Prophethood
At age 40, Muhammad ﷺ received the first revelation from Allah through the Angel Jibreel in the cave of Hira. Over the next 23 years, he preached monotheism, justice, and morality, facing opposition, hardship, and eventually, success.
Migration and Medina
He migrated to Medina, where he established a model Islamic society based on mutual respect, law, and brotherhood. Here, Islam grew rapidly, and the Prophet led with justice and mercy.
Legacy
He passed away at 63, leaving behind the Qur’an and his Sunnah (teachings and practices) as guidance for the Ummah (Muslim community). His famous saying:
“I was sent to perfect good character.” (Hadith)
continues to define the essence of Islamic life.
